THE WALK!
To date, many of us in South Sudan are still overwhelmed with all that
comes with freedom and independency. Of
the many pictures I have taken, one that captures my attention is of this young
girl carrying her sibling. As I examined
the picture, I thought of the compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus understood the need for courage,
responsibility and laboring as portrayed in the picture but with love. As we encounter the inhumanity, suffering,
and pain caused by injustice that wrecked havoc our world, how do we respond? We
know that the heart of God breaks over the cold-hearted conditions of the
world, shouldn’t ours? And shouldn’t we then do everything in our power to make
a difference for those in need, both spiritually and physically?
